Wonderwall Entertainment and Eternal Lines are proud to present a double bill of great one-act plays, The Browning Version and The Actor’s Nightmare.

The Browning Version is a moving look at the final day of term at an exclusive English public school. Andrew Crocker-Harris, a once-brilliant scholar, has worked as a classics teacher for nearly twenty years. Feared by his students, despised by his wife, passed over for promotion, Crocker-Harris has become an embittered and insular figure. However, an unexpe…cted gift brings repurcussions. Michael Fitzpatrick directs and takes on the role of Crocker-Harris. He has assembled an experienced supporting cast which includes Shelagh Stuchbery, Jim McManus, Fabiana De Rose, Marco Lucchino, Douglas Dean and introducing Jay Gunjal.

The Actor’s Nightmare is an irreverant comic play, which offers a nice contrast to the drama of the evening’s first piece. A man wanders onto a stage and soon finds himself embroiled in four different plays, none of which he remembers rehearsing. Bravely he battles on, but the executioner’s axe looks very real and he can’t wake up from his nightmare! James Butterfield leads the cast and is supported by Pete Baxter, Tad Burns, Georgia Darell, Alashiya Gordes and Anna Mazzotti.

The performances on Tuesday-Friday start at 8.30pm. The performances on Saturday and Sunday start at 5.30pm.
